DJT module:
The DJT telemetry transmitter module is a great choice if your transmiter is compatable with the JR modules.  It provides one of, if not the best system in the industry, especially when coupled with the 2-way telemetry features.

The Telemetry Radio System developed by FrSky provides an additional return link that is used for monitoring the Rx’s voltage, poor receiver reception, temperature, location, speed and so on.

The module is compatible with both the V8-series (non-telemetry) and the D-Series (telemetry) receivers.

NOTE: Late model Turnigy 9X transmitters have a ridge of plastic around the base of the pins where the transmitter module plugs in.  This ridge must be removed before the module will seat fully into the socket.  It can be removed by removing the back of 9X and removing the circuit board from the back of that.  Then using a hot utility knife, or a cutting tools of some kind, remove the raised ridge of plastic where the pins go through.  Be careful to make sure the pins are straight and plug into the correct holes in the module.  Never force a module to plug it!  It should go in easily.  The module will still work fine even if you don't remove this ridge, although it will stick out a bit and may need another method to securely attach it to the radio.
